LOCAL COMPANY TAKES OCCUPATION OF NEW DESIGN & BUILD FACILITY AT MARKHAM VALE, DERBYSHIRE
Henry Boot Developments Limited has welcomed Chesterfield based company MSE Hiller to its 200 acre Markham Vale Business Park in Derbyshire. The construction of MSE Hiller's new 15,000 sq.ft design and build manufacturing facility is now complete and the company took occupation during spring 2011.
MSE Hiller, which specialises in the supply and rental of centrifuges and sludge dewatering equipment, has relocated its business to accommodate company growth. They also have the added benefit of 15,000 sq.ft of expansion space adjacent to the building to future proof Markham Vale as a location. Initially MSE Hiller had 15 employees but the company anticipates this growing to 40+ in the near future.
The bespoke manufacturing unit was built to suit its exact requirements and incorporates 2x10 tonne internal cranes, together with a specialist balancing room and a dedicated sub-station to supply the manufacturing electricity loads required.
Ben Ward, Senior Development Surveyor at Henry Boot Developments, commented: "We are delighted with MSE Hiller's new facility and we feel it meets their exact requirements to enable the business to operate and grow in the future. It is great to see a local business relocating to Markham Vale and being a key part in establishing it as the region's premier business location."
The facility will also feature state of the art green renewable technologies such as rainwater harvesting, photo voltaic panels and achieves a 'Very Good' BREEAM rating and also has a B EPC rating.
